Perspectiva umanistă asupra clientului în asistenţa socială.

Abstract

The Romanian social work system and specialised literature had to attain in a relatively short time what has been attained in other systems during many decades or even centuries. The approach had focused generally on the formal (legal), institutional, methodological and theoretical aspects; the tendency was losing sight of the "subject" or intervention research: the customer himself, the personality, individuality, concrete human being, soul, social life. In other words, the formal and quantitative approach were predominant. Through this article we try to join the efforts ever more apparent, both in the institutional/organizational and scientific/academic or professional schedules, to displace the focus from the quantitative approach to the qualitative, i.e., the administration needs "human" concrete customer represented less instrumental or symbolic, as the attributes of quality worthy of man, as full personality, happiness, dignity, personal development, self-updating, social/human etc. Categories of humanity guidelines are increasingly present in literature and practice, in all social fields. We propose, with scientific caution, an individual approach to customer representation and the perspective of human and spiritual concepts such as spiritual personality, errors in the approach representing the customer or personal integral principle and approach/intervention.
