Simultaneous Preparation of Andrographolide and Dehydroandrographolide Using Macroporous Resin.

Abstract

The optional elution conditions of macroporous adsorption resin for different diterpenoids in the ethanol extract of Andrographis paniculata were studied, and the process was monitored by HPLC. The result showed that two diterpenoids were enriched. After the impurities were abandoned in 40% ethanol aqueous solution, 46.99% andrographolide was collected in 45% ethanol aqueous solution, and 14-deoxy-11, 12-didehydroandrographolide was mainly enriched in 55% ethanol aqueous solution, in which the content of 14-deoxy-11, 12-didehydroandrographolide was 79.74%.
