Abstract

Ursolic acid and oleanolic acid, distributed in many plants, are isomer and belong to the pentacyclic triterpeholds. They possess various bioactivities, such as antitumor, antioxidation, and anti-HIV. The recent progress on their structural modification was reviewed in order to provide information for searching lead compounds and designing drugs.
