Abstract

The adsorption characteristics of total flavones from M. nitida var. hirsutissima on AB-8 and H103 were investigated by static adsorption experiments. It was found that AB-8 resin had excellent adsorption and desorption capacity to the total flavones. The dynamic adsorption characteristics of the total flovones on AB-8 resin were studied. The content of total flavones of the tested sample increased from 7.44% to 40.61%, the content of formononetin increased by 15.7-fold after the adsorption concentrating on the AB.-8 resin. Thus, AB-8 resin was a excellent resin for separating the flavonoids from M. nitida var. hirsutissima.
