Abstract

This paper established the method for extracting ursolic acid(UA) from hawthorn fruits and explored hypolipidemic effect of UA on mice with hyperlipidemia. Firstly, the crude product UA was obtained by homogenate and alcohol leaching. Then the purity of UA was elevated by precipitation and macro-porous resin adsorption. The emulsion of nanosuspensions was achieved by nanoprecipitation method. Secondly, set up hyperlipidemia model with high-fat cream. Observe the influence of UA at different doses to the levels of serum TC, TG, HDL and LDL. The purity of UA was 98% by evaluation. The effect of UA depends on the dose and administration route. So we can make the conclusion that the extracting method was reliable and available, and UA could decrease blood h pid to some extent.
