Abstract

This article is the result of a team's work on addressing negative environmental changes through the implementation of new forms of greenery. The research presents a problem faced by heavily urbanized areas, along with an examination of the impact of new vertical greenery in the very center of Krakow on reducing the urban heat island effect and promoting the development of green infrastructure systems. The study also addresses economic, social, and environmental aspects, considering the significant role of vertical greenery in the modern city.
