Hyaluronic acid dissolving microneedle patch loaded with rice fermentation filtrate for improved moisturizing and anti-wrinkle effects.

Abstract

The hyaluronic acid dissolving microneedle patches loaded with rice fermentation filtrate were made by a laser-ablation and micro-molding process. The in-vitro biological safety of the microneedle was verified by cell experiment. Its moisturizing effect was verified by moisture content test and transepidermal water loss test (TWEL). Its safety and anti-wrinkle effect were verified by human experiment observed by VISIA. The characteristics, dissolution progress and transdermal depth of microneedle patches were studied. The results show that the hyaluronic acid dissolving microneedles loaded with rice fermentation filtrate have good biocompatibility, skin permeability, moisturizing and anti-wrinkle effects, and do not cause side effects or discomfort.
