Authors

Abstract

Background: Post-extraction ridge preservation using bone graft substitutes is a conservative technique to maintain the width of the alveolar ridge. Placement of an implant after tooth extraction becomes more common in implant dentistry nowadays. Aim: The aim of the study is to fill the whole socket with alloplast material, thus prevent the resorption of alveolar ridge, and aid in better placement of implant and fixed prosthesis for good stability of the region and normal function of the prosthesis.
