Abstract

The objective of the theoretical approach is the relationship between perceived stress, negative emotions and physical sensations. Thus, through the scientific literature there will be approached subjects, such as the relationship between psychosomatics and stress, and the relationship between negative emotions and perceived stress. Ionescu (1995, p.345) lists the four general types of response to stress: normal, neurotic, psychotic, and psychosomatic. Negative emotions underlie the occurrence of somatic reactions of the body representing the signals concerning an imbalance inside the body. In this literature review it is important to highlight the fact that, each person represents a unique Universe, both psychologically and physically.
