Abstract

Demographic behavior is determined by the socioeconomic and educational factors of a couple, as well as by the legislative restrictions in force; in this respect, our country appears as a negative model. Nowadays, for attaining a responsible demographic behavior, Romania still uses the natural, traditional abortive or contraceptive methods, to the detriment of the instrumental or hormonal ones, known as having a more reduced economic accessibility. Therefore, contraceptive education appears as a necessary condition for a healthy reproduction programme.
