Abstract

[Objective] To discuss the anti-aging effects of the flavonoids of Oxytropis glabra DC. on the mice of senile model. [Methods] D-galactose was used to prepare the senile mice model. Then, mice were given the flavonoids of O. glabra by gavage at the dosages of 100. 200 and 300 mg/kg.d). The effects on superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and catalase (GAT) activities in serum and liver and brain tissues were observed, as well as the contents of malonaldehyde (MDA) and lipofuscin (LPO). Effects of the flavonoids of O. glabra on the survival time in hypoxia and the loaded swimming lime of mice were also researched. [Results] The flavonoids of O. glabra could enhance the SOD. GSH-Px and CAT activities of mice serum and tissues in different degrees, and could extremely significantly reduce the MDA and LPO contents in mice. High-dosage flavonoids of O. glabra could extremely significantly prolong the survival time in hypoxia and the loaded swimming time of mice. [Conclusions] The flavonoids of O glabra had relatively good anti-aging effects.
