- Abstract
The article reports developments in the healthcare sector in Great Britain as of September 2014. It cites the move by National Health Services (NHS) England to require its health and wellbeing boards to establish annual targets to lessen the number of emergency hospital admissions in their regions. It also cites the role of the clinical commissioning groups (CCG), the health and social care budget called Better Care Fund, and the introduction of financial incentives.
