Abstract
The article offers information on a study based on the role of Mediterranean diets in reducing cardiovascular events more than a low-fat diet for persons with high-risk of for cardiovascular (CV) events. It also adds that the primary outcome was a composite of CV events including myocardial infarction, stroke, and CV-related mortality.
