Abstract

The article focuses on a study related to determination of the performance of diverse rice genotypes under high temperature for identifying thermo-tolerant lines. Topics include spikelet fertility as useful and important character for evaluation of genotypes, decrease in spikelet fertility significantly with high temperatures observed from effect of high temperature on spikelet fertility of rice and breeding for high temperature tolerant rice for mitigating the effects of climate change.
