Abstract

The article offers information on insulin resistance (IR) in patients after kidney transplantation (KT) and its role in post-transplant diabetes mellitus (PTDM). Topics include the incidence of IR after KT compared to the general population, the association between IR and cardiovascular diseases in KT patients, and the impact of physical activity on IR prevention in KT patients.
