- Abstract
The author comments on a study by S. Agrawal and colleagues on the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MS) in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in a north Indian hospital. She discusses topics on cardiovascular risk factors associated with OSA, the different prevalences of MS in OSA group found in other studies, and the relation of higher blood pressure (BP) to OSA. Also mentioned is the significance of the scientific evidence presented by the study authors.
