Abstract

A letter to the editor is presented in response to the report "In vitro RBE-LET dependence for multiple particle types," by B. Singers Sørensen, N. Overgaard, and N. Bassler from volume 50, 2011, which discusses the relative biological effectiveness of ion irradiation on cells related to particle type.
