Abstract

The article presents information on a study conducted to evaluate the efficiency of traditional cyclones with spray scrubber for removing airborne silica particles which are emitted from stone crushing factories. It states that traditional cyclones with spray scrubber remove high percentage of silica particle from local exhaust ventilation (LEV) and it requires less amount of electricity.
