- Abstract
A case study describing two patients with idiopathic pure sudomotor failure (IPSF) who responded to oral antihistamine treatment with sweating activity is presented. Topics discussed include the clinical history of the patients, the inhibitory effect of histamine on acetylcholine-induced sweating and treatment options for IPSF. The clinical characteristics of IPSF are also noted.
