- Title
Glatiramer Acetate in the Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis.
- Abstract
The article offers information on use of glatiramer acetate, which is a synthetic copolymer in treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). It states that studies suggest that its use may exert clinical benefit in the disease patients with a relapsing-remitting (RR) disease course. It mentions that treatment by it also promotes development of CD8+ glatiramer acetate-reactive T cells. It highlights that it alters function of B cells as earlier studies show that it induced humoral response to itself.
