Abstract

Described here in the article are the main aspects the of the 900 kN 3-line hi-speed full auto cold-drawing pipe mill, including the technical parameters and equipment configuration, the pipe cold-drawing process flow and the electrical control system of the mill line. It is regarded via relevant analysis that thanks to the said mill, the fully automation of the entire production process of the 椎28~63.5 mm cold-drawn pipe is realized, covering such operation steps as material distribution, charging, core piercing, drawing and discharging, etc.;and meanwhile it is also realized that multi pieces of the carbon structural steel pipe and the alloy steel pipe with high precision can be produced with drawing process, which leads to such a conclusion that the newly-developed mill is capable of manufacturing with high yield and quick operation cycle cold-drawn pipes with high precision and high surface quality.
