Abstract

Education undertakes the task of creating behavioral changes in an individual sense as well as developments and changes in a social sense. Societies can benefit from this power of education with the changes and innovations it will make in the philosophy of education and curriculum. In this context, the aim of the current study is to analyze the impact of social change processes on the Primary School Programs (1924-2024) prepared during the Republic Period from different perspectives. In the study where the qualitative method was adopted and descriptive and content analyses were conducted, the factors underlying the social change and directing the change were determined and themes were created. Afterwards, the Primary School Programs from the declaration of the Republic to the present were examined and the places suitable for the determined themes were shown in the form of tables and diagrams. In addition, some of the statements in the program related to the themes were reflected in the findings section as they were. As a result of the study, it has been determined that Primary School Programs are affected by social change processes and have progressed in a renewed and updated way, taking into account the conditions and opportunities of the age.
