- Abstract
The article discusses the results of the consumer testing projects of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board which aim at evaluating the ability of disclosures to improve consumer understanding of financial products and services. It states that the findings offer recommendations for potential best practices for consumer disclosure content and presentation. Moreover, the results also show some challenges involved in creating effective disclosure for financial products in the country.
