- Abstract
The article focuses on the recommendations for the use of mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and clinical breast examination for screening breast cancer on women at average risk. It states that mortality reduction is greater with the use of mammography for women at average risk aged 50-74 years compared to women age 40-49 years. It also mentions that providers should discussed the benefits and harms and the values and preferences of patients in recommending mammography.
