- Title
Alien Invasive Slider Turtle in Unpredicted Habitat: A Matter of Niche Shift or of Predictors Studied?
- Abstract
The article discusses issues related to Species Distribution Models (SDMs) and ecological niche shift during biological invasion. It has been informed that the physiologically well known Slider turtle from North America were studied to address the issue of ecological niche shift versus choice of ecological predictors by deriving SDMs using multiple sets of climatic predictor. It has been informed that result sof the study provide evidence that the observation of an apparent niche shift in the Slider turtle strongly depends on the choice of the variables applied during modeling.
