- Title
Mapping Antibody Epitopes of the Avian H5N1 Influenza Virus.
- Authors

- Abstract
In this article, the authors discuss the significance of antibody epitope mapping of the avian H5N1 influenza. They note that antibody epitopes on influenza viruses are important in triggering humoral response to neutralize the virus. They cite a study, which identified cross-reactive epitopes in several H5N1 viral proteins, including influenza hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA). They also mention the importance to identify whether these epitopes confer protection against human H5N1.
