- Abstract
The article reports on a study sponsored by the Synapse Microcurrent Ltd. which aims to estimate the cost-effectiveness of using electric simulation (ES) therapy in non-healing venous leg ulcers. The study uses a 5-month Markov model which was used to estimate the relative cost-effectiveness of ES therapy at 2008-2009 prices. Result shows that the utilization of the ES therapy found to be dominant treatment.
