- Title
Early recognition of the 2009 pandemic influenza A (H1N1) pneumonia by chest ultrasound.
- Abstract
The article offers information on methods for early diagnose of influenza (H1N1). It states that chest radiography(CRx) is unable to detect early interstitial stage. A study was conducted on patients. Clinical history, laboratory tests, CRx and computed tomography scan can diagnose pneumonia. Patients with pneumonia and abnormal initial CRx,had a final diagnosis. Chest ultrasonography(US) was found to be effective tool for diagnosing pneumonia in patients having an initial normal CRx.
