- Title
Expression and reactivation of HIV in a chemokine induced model of HIV latency in primary resting CD4+ T cells.
- Abstract
The article offers information on a virology research that involves the incubation of resting CD4+ T-cells with chemokines to analyze the latent infection by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), also, the study discusses the post-integration blocks to virus replication. It is mentioned that CCL19 treated CD4+ T-cells presents high amount of HIV DNA (deoxy ribonucleic acid) integration but low amount of reverse transcriptase.
