Designing a physical activity parenting course: Parental views on recruitment, content and delivery.
- Abstract
The article presents the findings of a study aimed at designing a new parenting programme which can increases children's physical activity (PA) and reduce their screen-viewing (SV). The study focuses on interest in a course, desired content, and delivery style. It discusses the methodology of the study. It concludes that parents are willing to enroll in PA/SV parenting courses, but the provision of child care is essential for attendance.
