Lifetime history of indoor tanning in young people: a retrospective assessment of initiation, persistence, and correlates.
Abstract
The article presents a study assessing the indoor tanning patterns and target interventions for individuals who initiate and persistently engage in indoor tanning. As mentioned, it was found that 73.3 percent of females and 38.3 percent of males ever tanned indoors. It is also mentioned that, persistent indoor tanners had other high-risk behaviors such as alcohol and sunbathing.
