- Title
Vaccination against 2009 pandemic H1N1 in a population dynamical model of Vancouver, Canada: timing is everything.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a dynamical model that studies different campaigns on H1N1 influenza morbidity and mortality in Canada. It informs that vaccination was a key component of many countries' pandemic preparedness and an important influenza control measure. The model represents the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Mathematical models played a significant role in the assessment of the pandemic. Outcomes reveal the number of infections and deaths averted due to vaccination.
