- Abstract
The article offers information on a study conducted by the authors on role of physicians to encourage smoking cessation in HIV/AIDS patients in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. It states that a cross-sectional survey was conducted on patients which was analyzed using multiple logistic regression for correlates of smoking and motivation to quit. It mentions that people who experienced physician-delivered smoking status assessment were more willing to quit smoking.
