- Title
Methylation profiling of Epstein-Barr virus immediate-early gene promoters, BZLF1 and BRLF1 in tumors of epithelial, NK- and B-cell origins.
- Abstract
The article presents a study conducted by the authors related to methylation profiling of epstein-barr virus (EBV) in immediate-early (IE) genes, BZLF1 (Zp) and BRLF1 (Rp) in cancer originating from NK, B-cell and epithelial. Methylation profiles of Zp and Rp were evaluated by methylation-specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR) (MSP) and bisulfite genomic sequencing (BGS). It mentions that both Zp and Rp were hypermethylated in all cancer cell lines.
