- Title
Genomic variation in Salmonella enterica core genes for epidemiological typing.
- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims at analyzing genomic variation in the epidemiology and phylogeny of Salmonella enterica. In the study, 2,882 gene clusters from Salmonella enterica genome were identified and were divided into two categories, one with few highly variable genes and other with a larger set of genes with low variance. It concludes the benefits of genomic variation for investigating molecular evolution in bacterial genome typing.
