Title
Postmortem cardiac tissue maintains gene expression profile even after late harvesting.
Abstract
The article presents a study which aims at examining gene expression in postmortem cardiac tissue. It explains the methodology of the study in which gene expression profile in a cardiac tissue from failing human heart is generated and reveals that even after 24 hours of autolysis, RNA from autopsy-derived tissue can be used for identifying relevant gene expression.
