Title
Whole genome comparisons of Fragaria, Prunus and Malus reveal different modes of evolution between Rosaceous subfamilies.
Abstract
The article presents a comparative study of the genomes of three crop species, namely peach, apple and strawberry, which belong to the Rosaceae family. The study has identified 1399 orthologous regions between the three genome. The study has revealed that different modes of evolution play major roles in different subfamilies of Rosaceae.
