- Title
Identification of genomic indels and structural variations using split reads.
- Abstract
The focuses on a sequence-based method, the split-read identification, calibrated (SRiC) for detecting structural variants (SVs) of genes. The method begins by mapping genes using gapped alignment to identify SVs and caliberates all SV calls against synthetic data generated from high-throughput sequencing. It informs that the method is beneficial in pointing exact breackpoints of SV events and comparing existing read-depth and read-pair approaches for SV identification.
