- Title
Identification of polymorphic inversions from genotypes.
- Abstract
The article presents a study on identifying polymorphic inversions from genome-wide genotype data and classification of individuals containing a normal or inverted allele. The method with haplotype data uses linkage among groups of single-nucleotide polymorphisms to partition a set of individuals into normal and inverted subpopulations. It is mentioned that the approach detects inversions directly from genotype data, increasing the usability to current genome-wide association studies (GWAS).
