- Title
GC-Content Normalization for RNA-Seq Data.
- Abstract
The article offers information on transcriptome sequencing or RNA sequencing which has become the assay of choice for high-throughput studies of gene expression. It is mentioned that is the case with microarrays, major technology related artifacts and biases affect the resulting expression measures. The three simple gene-levels proposed GC-content normalization approaches and assess their performance on two different RNA-Sequencing datasets, involving different species and experimental designs.
