- Abstract
Diabetes mellitus has been shown to delay osseointegration of titanium dental implants. This study tested the hypothesis that serum derived from diabetes negatively affects osteoblast adhesion to polystyrene and titanium surfaces, partly through the presence of advanced glycation end products (AGEs).
