The article presents the author's insights on cultural and racialized human learning process. The author says that perceptions of race have been taken up deterministic and biological and as associated to participation in cultural practices. He states that social and educational have effect if not informed in comprehensive understandings of how learning and development occur. He adds that learning involves people's meaning-making process.
