Abstract
The author reflects on the impact of attitudes to euthanasia on suicide risk of veterinarian. It notes that the World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that at least one million people die by suicide each year. It mentions that suicide death rate among men is higher than women. It cites that mental illness is an important risk factor for suicide attempts.
