Title

VI. TREATMENTS AND TRADEOFFS.

Authors

Lockhart, Kristi L.; Keil, Frank C.

Abstract

The article focuses on the challenges of seeing causal tradeoffs using early models of how medicines work in the body. It explores several studies which determine how younger children view things differently in terms of the side effects of medications in the body. It also examines the development of intuitions about the relationship between effort, pain and healing.
