Abstract
Radiofrequency energy has emerged as a new tool for the local destruction of cancer by inducing thermal tissue necrosis in the target region. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) has recently been used to treat breast cancer primaries, potentially offering all the advantages of minimally invasive techniques.
