Pigmented contact cheilitis: from green tea?

- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 40-year-old non-atopic Korean woman who was presented with a 3-year history of pruritic swelling and darkening of her lower lip. History showed that she had a nickel contact allergy from jewelry in her 20s, and he had been drinking 10 or more cups of green tea everyday for several years. The study reveals that green tea contains large amounts of nickel, therefore, allergy in nickel was suspected as the cause of the pigmented contact dermatitis.
