- Abstract
The article examines the efficacy of applying sublingual feverfew and ginger early during the mild headache phase of the attack. Findings of the multi-center pilot research revealed that 63 percent of subjects receiving feverfew/ginger found pain relief compared with 39 percent receiving placebo. In general, feverfew/ginger was well tolerated with oral numbness and nausea being the most commonly occurring adverse event.
