Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 58-year-old man with an ulcerated plaque in the nasal dorsum. The patient had a history of multiple myeloma approximately four years prior to admission. Direct examination with Indian-ink staining and culture on Sabouraud agar was performed which led to a diagnosis of cutaneous cryptococcosis.
