Abstract

The article focuses on understanding the patient perspective regarding medication adherence in hypertension, particularly the discrepancies between self-reported adherence and chemical testing results. Topics include the emotional responses to adherence testing, the shared frustrations patients experience with medication regimens and side effects, and the limitations of current adherence measures in accurately reflecting patient behaviors.
