- Abstract
A 75-year-old male patient presented with asthma and facial swelling, leading to the discovery of a rare case of intracardiac thymoma. Imaging revealed a mass extending from the left innominate vein to the right atrium, connected to a tiny nodule in the anterior mediastinum. The patient underwent successful surgery to remove the tumour, followed by radiotherapy, and recovered well. This case highlights the rare occurrence of intraluminal growth of invasive thymoma extending into the right atrium, emphasizing the importance of considering mediastinal and intraluminal lesions in diagnosis.
